You have found a rare gem! This enormous and luxurious home is available for your enjoyment during your stay in Western Puerto Rico. The property includes: 4 air conditioned bedrooms, one guest room with ceiling fan, 4 bathrooms, formal living room, formal dining room, ample kitchen with dinnette, family room, laundry room, media room with a gigantic projection screen, a gym, double carport with electric doors, a covered terrace and an open terrace where you can get a nice suntan, and a big and nice L shaped swimming pool. It accomodates up to 10 adults and a baby or toddler with the provided beds. All the furniture, linen, towels, kitchen and dining utensils are included. We also include the basic kitchen products so you can get the main ingredients and prepare your own meals.
This wonderful private pool and the covered terrace in the back will provide lots of enjoyment during your stay. We'll come back to them later on...

You can see here the foyer in the lower level. The first door to the left leads to the media room. The next door leads to the guest room and to the lower level's bathroom. A portion of the interior garden can be seen, and the door at right leads to the carport and to the gym room.

View of the ample and beautifully decorated living room and formal dinning room, where you'll feel like a king/queen. The door leads to the covered terrace that you'll see later. The baby grand piano is available for use by people with musical knowledge, if there is any in your group, for hours of fun and enjoyment.
The cozy family room has a sofa, two comfortable chairs and a recliner. You can enjoy here a nice conversation with your friends, or view your favorite TV shows in the HD flat screen 47" (119 cms) TV with cable service with the local channels and some of the most popular US channels. It is also equipped with a Blue Ray/DVD player and a Nintendo Wii console from where you can play games (some provided - or bring your own) or watch instant movies from the vast collection of Netflix (no extra charge).
The nice formal dinning room comfortably seats eight persons. All the dinnnerware is provided.
It will be a delight for the family's chef to cook in this dream kitchen. All the necessary utensils are provided (pans, blender, food processor, toasters, grills, etc.) and the basic ingredients for you to cook your favorite meals for all your group. By basic ingredients we mean: salt, sugar, cinamon, vinegar, some basic garnishings, etc. You just bring the main ingredients and prepare them in the easy to clean glass top stove, grills, micro-wave or convection ovens provided. There are two supermarkets and a Sam's Club less than 10 minutes away! A bakery and a drugstore, both with small grocery stores are also at walking distance. Up to 6 people can eat comfortably and informally in the dinnette, or you can use the formal dinning room, or the table in the covered terrace.
The master room is really a 300 square foot suite (28 sq. mts.) with a spacious King size bed with its two night tables and a bench at the bed's foot. It also has a full size walk-in closet with drawers and a home office area with a desk with a DELL computer we provide, or bring your own laptop and connect wirelessly to high speed internet. This room has a walk-in closet, its own private bathroom with a big and nice jacuzzi, and connects with the open terrace where you can sit and enjoy at nights.
This beautiful room was decorated with an antique look, with a full size bed dating from the 40's and an also antique rocking chair. You'll feel in paradise, as this is also a pretty ample and comfortable room. We provide a clothes' hamper and a small trash can in every sleeping room.

The decoration of this room is more modern. The bed is Queen size and there is a computer desk at right (not shown) with speakers. Both this and the previous room have ample closets and built in drawers. There are also big mirrors in all rooms.
General view of the media room. All the movie collection of over 200 movies is available for your enjoyment. We have replaced the futtons shown with a full size bunk bed that can sleep up to four persons. The folding door is a lighted closet for your clothing. This will certainly be one of the favorite roomss because it is the darkest, day and night! We provide good quality linens, pillows and covers for all the rooms.
The movies take a new dimension in the 8'X 6' or 120" diagonal screen (183 X 244 cms or 304 cms diagonal). The room is air conditioned and with 5 channel Surround Sound system, which you can use at any time of day or night without disturbing the neighbors. There is a video club at walking distance where you can rent the latest hits or you can enjoy the large instant movie collection of Netflix at no extra charge. You and your kids will certainly spend a lot of time in this entertainment center. Note - The screen image in this picture is simulated.
The guest room is located in the first level and it has a Queen Size bed. This is the only bedroom without air conditioning, but being in the lower level keeps it quite fresh as it is not hit directly by the sun. It has a ceiling fan and we provide an extra stand fan, just in case.
There is a nice big closet and a desk in this guest room.
The laundry room has a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, a sink and a closet where you can hang your clothes as you iron them. You can use our detergent and softener. For your convenience, we also provide you with a clothe's hamper in every room. So, you can travel light as you can do all your laundry here!
These are the bathroom in the hall and in the Master room, respectively. Both have bathtubs, the Master room's one being a jacuzzi for two. We provide soap, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, and good quality towels for every guest.
Here we have the lower level bathroom and the one in the back terrace. The lower level one is the only one which doesn't have hot water for the moment. We also installed a 600 gallons water tank so you won't suffer from lack of water, even if there is an outage.
The gym is equipped with free weights, dumbells and a set of "Perfect Push Ups" handles. There are also jogging tracks less than five minutes away, for the fitness minded guests. In fact, the road adjacent to the house has a one mile long bike track which you can use to walk or jog, and it has a nice grading.
In the back of the house there is this big covered terrace by the pool where you can have nice family gatherings and prepare BBQ's. You can just sit there and relax watching the nice surroundings of the pool or the banana trees and lush vegetation in the mountain behind. You'll hear plenty of birds during the day, and lots of critters in the night (especially after a rainfall) which will make you feel as if you are in a real rain forest! You might even be able to watch some interesting birds, like the woodpeckers who built their nest in one of our trees!
The pool is just fantastic! It measures 27' X 12' in one leg and 24' X 12' in the other, for a total of 39' X 12'. It goes from 3' to a maximum depth of 5'. It has plenty of sitting area in the shallow portion and in the afternoons this part is mostly shaded.
This is like having a personal resort just for you and your party. You have this wonderful pool just for yourselves, day and night! Just imagine all the fun you'll have!
The deck has three nice lounges and tables for you to enjoy a nice wine, a delicious piña colada or your favorite drink while you get a stunning suntan, or just relax reading a book or listening to music.
You'll enjoy the beautiful landscaping and the nice areas to sit around and enjoy.
...or this hammock in this nice corner surrounded by beautiful plants and which is shaded since early in the afternoon, for a great nap or reading your favorite book. (The girl is not included, LOL!).
You must experience the relaxation a night swim offers. The ambiance provided by the ligthing in the pool area will surely make your stay a romantic and unforgettable one!
The night setting of this area is stunning! Just sitting here and watching the surroundings, enjoying the quietness of the place, will be a most enjoyable experience.
During the day, or during the night, you'll love spending time in this wonderful terrace!
In this open terrace you might get a nice suntan as the sun hits it directly in the morning hours. It connects directly to the master room, or you can reach it from the patio through the covered terrace. It offers much privacy as it is in the second level.

Mayagüez is located in the Westernmost portion of the island. You can reach the opposite end in about 3 hours, depending on the traffic. In other words, you can leave in the morning and circle all the island, stopping to enjoy the scenery and the culinary delights in your way, and be back by evening. As you can also see, most of the best beaches are less than an hour away from the home. Click HERE to see some maps with distances.
The house is located in the spot marked by the yellow circle with the red star, at the end of PR-3108 (painted in blue). As you can see, it is very easy to get there directly from highway PR-2 (this is the main highway that goes around most of the island), and from there you can easily reach most of the most important places in the west. The tourist spots in other cities are also easily accesed through PR-2.
Beautiful Tres Hermanos public beach is just 20 minutes away from our home. Going just a little further toward Rincón you'll find Córcega Beach, Steps Beach and El Faro with its also nice beach.
El Faro in Rincón is a beautiful sight. It is also a whale watching spot in season (around March). Just 35 minutes from our home.
The beach at El Faro in Rincón is very good for swimming and for surfing. Rincón is called the Surfing Capital of PR.
Wilderness Beach is also an excellent surfing spot (I took this picture there). It is located in Aguadilla (Punta Borinquen) just across from the golf course. It is a 40 minutes drive from our home through excellent highways (PR-2 and PR-107). There is a not so excellent dirt road approaching the beach, but it is short and manegeable in any type of vehicle.
The golf course at Punta Borinquen is just gorgeous with the blue Atlantic Ocean as background. Their rates are very reasonable and you don't need a reservation to use it. So, be sure to bring your clubs!
To the South, El Faro at Cabo Rojo offers a spectacular view of blue waters and reefs. There also is an excellent beach for swimming there.

Also in Cabo Rojo there are some of the most beautiful, clear and calm beaches in the whole island: Buyé, La Mela, El Combate and Boquerón, being the last two the most popular. Very recently I took this picture of a sunset in Boquerón. The little town there is very colorful, with many kiosks selling all kind of typical stuff.
